Seriously -- Soon our comments won't show up easily. We've hit 200. We'll need to click on New Comments (I think) on the Main Page to see them. But that doesn't mean they aren't there - they are just over the page.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Cool... Can you add a note to the end of the blog to that effect Wendy? To warn newcomers?

Wendy said...

oh it should be clear enough - we just have to hit 'Newest' to find our comment.

Lisa said...

Oh my goodness!

"...public speaking about writers block..."

That's two phobias for the price of one! Well done Mary!

Wendy said...

I added a note to the blog post. I hope it won't be too difficult for people to find their comments now.

About cameras Rosalie. Does anyone have one. My Stefan always leaves his behind and I doubt if Caleath or the Nemesis Team carry one.

Mary Andrews said...

Michael says the bull is just outside the garden. That way. He wants to know if the dragons need quelling or if it's under the protection of any of us.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hmm.. Camera, SLR, Digital? Where's the subject matter. Not the grouper...with teeth marks.

Mary Andrews said...

I've been clicking on the refresh button

Rosalie Skinner said...

Caleath will take care of them.. I will ask him.

Wendy said...

Little Billy is under my protection and Chubby Bubby Blue will stomp on any old dragon if it tries to hurt my little calf, but Michael is a wonderful deterent. Standing so magestically by the gate -now dragon would dare breath on him. I'll just give the dragons a drink of kerosene that should quieten them :)

Wendy said...

from my spelling it is clear I've had too much kero myself. hic

Mary Andrews said...

How does one get a dragon to drink kerosene? Enquiring minds want to know.

Rosalie Skinner said...

The dragons won't hurt the humans, Billy and CBB are less protected, though I am sure Caleath will keep an eye on them.
Kero? Hmm. Don't encourage them!!

Mary Andrews said...

I can't see from here...is the chef safe?

Wendy said...

Mary, I use a straw lol. To tickle the back of their throat and then pour it down

Rosalie Skinner said...

Gwilt was cooking. He's not worried by dragons.

Rosalie Skinner said...

And hope they don't belch while you are doing that Wendy!!!

Wendy said...

Yes Stefan is okay but the groper is a little green around the gills hahaha

Rosalie Skinner said...

ROFL...Poor Stefan. The things you put him through.

Mary Andrews said...

Oh, I thought you said the grouper was cooking. *looks at empty flash-cup* I need more rum--er, coffee--maybe cold this time.

Wendy said...

Here in Oz it's dinner time - in the real world- so we might take a little break and come back later. Not that I'm in the slightest bit hungry. Thank goodness we can't get bloated in Cyber Space.

Wendy said...

Yes Mary, the Groper was cooking the snapper. Stefan did the steak, Gwilt was cooking the shrimp wasn't he Rosalie?

Mary Andrews said...

Enjoy your dinner, Wendy.

Wendy said...

I'd love a coffee to go, too, Mary thank you. Those cups of yours are marvellous. I don't mind if you mix the flavours.

Mary Andrews said...

Sounds more like a firepit than a grill then.

Edith Parzefall said...

Congratulations, everyone. Wish you great success with your new releases.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Edith,
Glad you could make it. :)
Will you have champagne, German beer or coffee?

Edith Parzefall said...

Still kinda early, Rosalie. Coffee would be nice though. :-) Did you spike it with something otherworldly last time? Some how my memory is a little hazy.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Gwilt was taking care of the shrimp, what he didn't eat, should be around, cooked and ready to go.

Edith, are you breaking your fast, or would you like steak, shrimp, grouper?
Mary has some neat flash cups for coffee... instant heat or cool.

Rosalie Skinner said...

She also brought rum.. which really changes the whole idea of coffee.

So, breakfast? Bacon, eggs... or museli, pancakes? Fruit?

Edith Parzefall said...

The shrimp sound yummy. And cool coffee is even better. Temps are rising again... Hey, if you see some kids snatching food, I hope you don't mind. I think Luiz and Tatu followed me.

Mary Andrews said...

I hope we brought enough for everyone to keep one.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Tell them to help themselves. There are safe secure places to sleep too. Mary's archangel Michael is standing guard. They can't do much better than that.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Don't turn the cup over while it's full, but the switch on the bottom will either instantly heat or cool the contents Edith.
hmm.
Yeah... when you have mixed the coffee with too much rum the whole idea of a switch on the bottom doesn't help when you are short sighted.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Caleath is getting the hang of minding kids... hmm.
Tell Tatu and Luiz to bug him for a while. He'll love it. :)

Edith Parzefall said...

I'd love to keep one of those cups. Perfect for any time of the year. :-)

An archangel sounds much better than their current role models. I hope the boys didn't bring any guns. But I'm sure Michael can catch the bullets.

Rosalie Skinner said...

They will love it here, Edith. They may not want to return to Rio.

The beach here is beautiful/ No one would suspect innocent looking kids of petty crime.

Edith Parzefall said...

Hey Rosalie, if they want to stay, can you make sure they go to school? If Lisa doesn't keep an eye on them, they might just bum around all day. ;-) Shshsh, don't tell them I said that.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Sure... and will try to dissuade them from stealing cars, picking pockets and mixing with unsavoury types.

A tall order...

Mary Andrews said...

We can call the flash-cups party favors and Michael doesn't really deal with children often but his telepathy gives him a real advantage over most.

Edith Parzefall said...

Best way is to make them work. They can protect the chooks and scare off the crows. :-)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Perfect!! And watch for the bunyip in the back yard.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I can't imagine Michael having problems with much life could throw at him.

Edith Parzefall said...

Uhm, what's a bunyip? Should I be worried?

Mary Andrews said...

That's true enough. I just wish he wasn't so serious all the time. Who knows, maybe having kids around might be a nice change for a bit.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Bunyip, is Aboriginal for a mythical creature who lives in a billabong or river/creek swamp...
Not normally friendly but with dragons, fairies and archangels around I doubt they would raise a shiver of fear.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I can see Luiz and Tatu teaching Michael sleight of hand tricks. hmm.

Edith Parzefall said...

Ah, sounds harmless enough. :-)

Hey, is that Michael pulling Tatu off a dragon? Archangels sure come in handy sometimes.

Edith Parzefall said...

Talking of dragons, Furnace came here with me, but now I can't see the cheeky fellow. I'm sure he's been missing Australia. So do I! Great to be back if only virtually.

Mary Andrews said...

Well, it's going on 4:30 am here (Lubbock,TX) so I might need to get some sleep pretty soon or I won't be up at a decent time for tomorrow.

Where do you hail from Rosalie, Edith?

Rosalie Skinner said...

I am from Downunder. East coast Australia. About 100k north of Wendy.

Thanks for joining the celebrations Mary. Can Michael stay? He's very useful.

Rosalie Skinner said...

1000k.. not 100..

Rosalie Skinner said...

Furnace is probably playing with Chubby Bubby.
Unless we see flames, he's probably all right.

Mary Andrews said...

Of course. I was thinking perhaps I'd comandier one of those 'safe sleeping spots' you spoke of earlier if there are any left.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Feel free...
After the rum and coffee I think I need a nanna nap too.
Will crawl onto the sofa and shut my eyes for a few minutes.

Mary Andrews said...

Guess that leaves you and the kids Edith. If the dragons don't keep me awake, I'll get back sooner than later. Nite all.

Michael, you don't mind, do you.... *stumbles away*

Wendy said...

Hi Edith Great to see you here. Your cheeky strays from Rio seem to be settling in well at the tables.
Mary why are you still up at 4:00am. Well now it really is your 27th so we can congratulate you on the day!

btw Edith is from Germany.

You can sleep in the snug little glade in Michelle's forest. No one will disturb you there :)

Edith Parzefall said...

Hiya, Wendy. Great party once again. :-)

I'd certainly feel better if Michael would sleep somewhere near the kids. Someone's better keep an eye on them.

Wendy said...

Michael is standing sentinel at the gate but there is a little tunnel into the blackberry bushes on either side where the children will be safe near him, if they get drowsy.

MuseItUp Publishing said...

Holy Toledo, I go to bed and you guys pinch the cheesecake? :(

Kristy, your book is coming.

Love and Consequences is coming also.

And drank Caleath's green drink and it zonked me out. Thank you.

Wendy said...

So glad Caleath's green drink did the trick Lea. Someone pinched your cheesecake? No! Who? lol. You must have eyes in the back of your head :)Probably Mary's St. Michael.

Let's hope the Pre-Orders for Kristy and Heather's book keep coming too.

After a small sleep I'll be back to wish our new authors Very Best Wishes on their 27th. So happy for all of you.

Joanne Elder said...

Congratulations to all who join me with their new release! Thanks for a great party Wendy!

Anne Duguid Knol said...

Wow--super party--and congrats to all with those new releases--my to-buy list is growing and growing with happy summer reads.

....errr is everyone snoozing, sunbathing, preparing for Olympic achievement...everso quiet.

Wendy said...

Lovely to see you here Joanne. Raising my glass to you. Congratulations. Here is a glass of bubbly which converts into your favourite drink. The tables are full to overflowing and the Barbeques are full of steaks, lamb and seafood but if you prefer to have your dessert first that is perfectly okay here. Just don't tell my little bull where the streaks come from :)

I'm counting on your Dean to keep away any malevolent energy with the ring of fiery dragons to help him and Mary's Michael too.
Grab a plate and settle in. Even if I'm sleeping (under the table) there should be others calling in soon.
Have a feast. :) This is your big day.

Wendy said...

Hey Annie! so good you could make it. Grab a plate and let me load it for you. What are you drinking? Some good Aussie red. You might be able to have a glass now, eh? It's been a long day here and is 10:30pm now. The opening ceremony begins in London at 5:30am, Oz time so must get some beauty sleep before it begins.

Will see everyone on my tomorrow. But the party is still open to those who wish to mingle. Have fun

Cheryl said...

Good grief. I take a nap and find bulls, sharks, dragons, wolves, bulls and the dreaded Imbibo filling the pages!

Okay, I brought some muscadine wine to share but here, take it. I think I'll skip the wines and the bubbly. I need the stronger stuff. Rum and Coke, heavy on the rum, please.

And congrats again to everyone on their new releases!

Unknown said...

Love all of Margo's books! She is a real gem among your authors.
Thanks for hosting

J.Q. Rose said...

Oh my goodness, but what a party! And Today (it's Fri a.m. here) is the actual release day...The pre-party was fantastic. Looking forward to the REAL party day. Too early for the green drink. Anybody bring toast or muffins and coffee??

Rosalie Skinner said...

Goodness, *yawn* did someone say coffee...
Somehow falling asleep under the hedge isn't such a good idea. I think I will crawl off to find somewhere warmer and drier.
Heavy dew... or was that Chubby Bubby's accident?
Great to see you back, J Q, Joanne, Cheryl, and Annie. Nice meeting you Tesha, but I am with Wendy for now... see you in the am.
Our Sat. am.
Congrats... enjoy your Friday.. ours was a blast. :)

Anonymous said...

Hello all! I've got some spicy Louisiana crawfish for anyone interested ;-)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Wow Erick, They sound so good I am tempted to stay and party on some more.
Congrats on your release too.
It is nearly midnight here.. not a good time to consider anything Darker than Night... I am glad the lights are on.
I will return when the sun rises here.
For now the matchsticks are straining.

Anonymous said...

This is the BEST time to read a thriller like this. I would check under my bed first. Sorry I'm so late to the party. I see you guys had a great time!

Margo said...

Fried rice, Portugese sausage, and mango slices for breakfast! Todd's cooking and Melia's helping out. Now I get to go babysit Adorables in Real Life! Aloha and congratulations to all and thanks for joining this party. Mahalo nui loa to Wendy for throwing this great party! Aloha!

ediFanoB said...

Hi Rosalie and Wendy,

it is now 7:20 pm in Germany and I finally found my way to the party. Today has been the hottest day of the year with 36 C° = 96.8 F. I sweat, sweat, sweat.
I'm sure you can ease my life with a glas of cool read Australian wine.
It seems a lot of people like the party. I'm still reading all the comments posted before.

ediFanoB said...

I must say I'm not hungry when it is that hot.

But I hope everyone enjoys the food.

ediFanoB said...

So it is nearly midnight for you Rosalie. What a looooong day for you.
Sometimes the time difference is a bit cumbersome.

ediFanoB said...

Anyway a party like this one is an excellent opportunity to start into the weekend.

Edith Parzefall said...

Hi EdiFanoB,

Most guests have fallen over intoxicated, some with their hair turned green.

Don't expect sympathy from Australians for our brain melting temperatures in Germany. They'd trade any time. when they are freezing at temps below 20°C. ;-)

There should still be some nice Aussie wine hidden somewhere, and Cider. I'll probably slink off to the beergarden now that it's about as warm inside the flat as outside.

ediFanoB said...

Hi Edith,

as I wrote before, sometimes the time difference between Germany and Australia is cumbersome.

And to be honest it is not unexpected to see intoxcated people after a whole day party.

I think you Australiens are more used to these high temperatures than we Germans.

20 C° means summer for me :-)

ediFanoB said...

Anyway I promised Rosalie to visit the party and tomorrow she will see that I kept my promise.

Edith Parzefall said...

I know what you mean. I'm in Germany as well and dissolving in a pool of sweat. :-) Not much longer, tomorrow a thunderstorm's supposed to bring cooler temperatures to Nürnberg. Phew.

ediFanoB said...

Edith,

I live near Frankfurt. 20 minutes by car to the airport.

Isn't great that two Germans meet on a cyber launch party of an Australian author?

ediFanoB said...

Just have had a look at your website. So you are an author.

I'm an avid reader with a slowly growing blog. I read and review in English.

Edith Parzefall said...

Yes, quite a coincidence. I'd offer you some Franconian beer but that would feel rather disrespectful since we're both in Germany. :-)

I live about 15min on the underground from the quaint Nuernberg airport. Always a good thing.

Yep, I write novels in English. Ever since I went to college in the US, I've mostly been daydreaming in English.

Cool review blog! Need more reading material?

ediFanoB said...

It would be a lie when I would say I do not have anything to read :-)

But I'm always open-minded for new things.

It is no lie when I tell you that I'm interested in your Higher Ground series.

ediFanoB said...

By the way my real name is Michael
I sent a Facebook friend request and since a couple of seconds I follow you on Twitter.

Edith Parzefall said...

Cool, I'll happily accept your friend request and follow you on twitter. :-) Talk to you soon. The beer garden is calling.

Prost, Michael

ediFanoB said...

Great,

Enjoy the beer garden and we will talk about your books soon.

Prost, Edith

Wendy said...

Oh you wonderful people. You kept the party going while I slept under the table. Oh that wonderful food you have brought along.

Cheryl that's not the half of it. Lea discovered that 'someone' pinched her cheesecake hehe.

Tesha - I agree Margo's books are gems. So are her won tons.

Margo, I'll have some of your Portugese sausages -thank you!

Rosalie, you are up late. You must be exhausted.

Erick. Congratulations. This is your day. So glad you found your way here!

ediFanoB How wonderful to see you here. Welcome to the crazy garden. I enjoyed your conversation with Edith. I think you'd like her upcomig novel Strays in Rio. Just sayin'...

Edith Ted is handing you an Aussie beer - Hun light.

I have to go away again for a little while but I'll be back.

Hey everyone! It's your 27th! Party on! Let your characters mingle.
Edith

Wendy said...

I meant everyone feast, drink and mingle your characters with the others.

Do you smell the cinnamon? Bad things happen when you smell cinnamon. That's when we know the sibyl is near. Stefan look out. She's is stalking you. Do you see the bat? Hide! Everyone hide or you'll be changed into bats. Oh Dear, oh dear.

Calling the Nemesis Team again. St Michael, help. Calling Dean Weston! There's malevolent energy here. It's becoming Darker than Night

Cheryl, I think I can see your missing heiress, Cal, talking to Joyce's Claire - now they'll both be on the run. Oh dear.

I need a Russian white and a plum puff. That's better!

Unknown said...

WOWZA...YOWZA...GOODNESS...Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious...

CAN ANYONE HEAR ME? THIS PARTY IS RAGING!!! ***HELLLLLOOOOO* Wendy?

Where's Chubby Bubby Blue? He was crying because someone stepped on his um, cheesecake. Now parts of him are bluer than others and he's scared.

Great party everyone! Congratulations on such a spectacular release party. Wow - these comments are an anthology waiting to happen.

Love you guys!

Wendy said...

Hey Karen! Hugs and air kisses!!How's the writers festival. Hope you are having fun!
Chubby has been behavin' sort of. He tried to fly with the fiery dragons but we got him down safely. Suzanne hasn't brought her moldy carrets yet so he's only eaten party left overs. Everyone is having a great time.
Have you tried the Portugese sausages? Have you been watching the Olympic Games opening ceremony?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Morning....
How's it going?
Everyone pull up a chair and watch the opening of the Olympics?
If my eyes would focus it all looks lovely. Colourful, dancing, loud... very energetic for this early in the morning.

Hi Karen, Edi!! Sorry I missed you. So glad you and Edith bumped into each other.
Erick, I did Check under my bed. With a torch. Sent the dogs in too.
And that was from reading the blurb!!

Hi Wendy... Coffee? No rum... How did you sleep?

Wendy said...

Hi Rosalie, I'm having some of Mary's flavoured coffee in her souvenir mug. Slept well thanks. Watching the opening ceremony. Loved Mr Bean.
Caleath has been watching over everyone. He's a good person to have around.

Wendy said...
This comment has been removed by the author.
Mary Andrews said...

Okay, I'm back. WOW, look at this place. I guess the party never stopped, huh?

Where's my flash-cup? I absolutely NEED coffee. Any rum left? Nevermind. Here's the Kaluha for the White Russians. That'll do...hair of the dog, you know...just a li-i-i-ttle bit'll do ya.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Morning Mary, your flash cup is a life saver!
I am foregoing the rum right now.
Still bleary eyed.

Mary Andrews said...

Don't know how anyone survived without them. Mmm...the sweet, sweet smell of vanilla coffee with Kahlua. Only thing better than that is the taste. Yum!

Did you get some rest?

Have you seen him eat or drink anything since we got here *points to Michael still out in the garden*

Wendy said...

Glad you are back Mary, I've been calling on the nemesis Team and they have been a great help in chasing away my shapeshifting bat.
There are plenty of your cups to go round everyone. I'm keeping mine.
Now I have to be away for a few hours. My Spitzli has to go to obedience Training in the real world. I hope everyone will look after themselves.
I'll be back!

Karen, thanks for your message to the group from CBB. Rosalie, CBB is very complimentary to you.
I'm away

Wendy said...

Oh btw Mary, I saw Michael drinking nector and eating Manna. He's fine

Mary Andrews said...

who's CBB?

Mary Andrews said...

Oh good. The thing about Rael's Archangels is that they always seem to be all business. I worry about them sometimes.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Mary, CBB is Karen's Chubby Bubby Blue baby elephant who leaves footprints in the cheesecake. He loves to play at Wendy's place.

Mary Andrews said...

I thought I saw a blue elephant but figured my eyesight was outta wack. Pink elephants are more to my style.

Where'd she find a blue one?

Rosalie Skinner said...

I think Michael is enjoying himself. I thought I saw him smile earlier on... maybe it was a grimace. Still.. the kids seem to love having him around.

Mary Andrews said...

It's so pretty out in the garden. Cool breeze and all, but I don't hear any birds. Are the fire dragons still around?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Can't hear the birds... odd.. could be the dragons. I can't see them, or smell them (thank goodness). It could be Edith's little dragon, Furnace. CBB's little blue furry friend trying to catch them. He's still learning dragon skills. Birds are about all he can manage to frighten as yet.

Mary Andrews said...

*looking at Michael as the kids run around him* Rael's been trying to get the Archangels to relax a bit but they have been like this for over 300 years. If you saw him smile, I'll bet it was worth seeing.

Mary Andrews said...

I understand you lost a couple of characters in your last book. How's that been for you?

Rosalie Skinner said...

I should have had my camera ready.

Wendy's parties have a very strange effect on characters. Could be all the fairy dust in the air.

Maybe it's just the great company, food and level of excitement so many book releases generates!

Mary Andrews said...

So you finally did find a camera.... Good. I'll bet there are still quite a few 'Kodak moments' left in this day.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I think you are thinking of Joe and Daz from Kiera's quest.

I try not to mourn characters too long.

Takes strength to let them go though. hmm.

Mary Andrews said...

You still look a little tired. If you want to step away for a while, I'll watch over things here.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Yeah... none of these shots will be appearing on Facebook though. hehe.

Mary Andrews said...

Oops...my bad. I think you're right. I've been so busy lately my stack of books to read has become a tower--a leaning tower.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Cool... help yourself to whatever you can find!! LOL
Will be back refreshed.

Goodness the Olympic opening is STILL going on.. how many athletes are there? hmm.

Mary Andrews said...

Enjoy. Oh...a butterfly.

Rosalie Skinner said...

My kindle is bulging at the sides.. and it's a digital library.. didn't think it would happen.
I worry when I open it of the stack of books will collapse.

Will book worms become endangered as ebooks become more popular?

Unknown said...

I've be given a furlow! *laugh* Okay, so I'm exagerating a little. It's not easy being here and being at home all at once. I'm so sorry I've been AWOL most of the time. But it appears everyone is having a grand time. *clapping* Yay!

I do have one question...neither Jairo nor Joy came home...have they been here the entire time? Or will I need to send out a search party and report them missing to the local PD?

Congrats my fellow Musers on your releases!! I've already heard from other readers (a couple friends) who've bought our books and are hankering down to read them. They were excited...No, they wouldn't tell me which ones they bought only that they had been waiting since they pre-ordered them. *chuckle* Guess we've hit it big, huh?

Okay, I'm off to see what yummy food I can find and enjoy without the weight they bring. *grin* Is there any suggestions?

Mary Andrews said...

Naw, worms are common in the internet.

Mary Andrews said...

The won tons were a success last night, but I'll always recommend the steak.

And there are plenty of flash-cups and flavored coffee packets left. If you flip the switch at the bottom you can have your drink hot or cold.

Mary Andrews said...

I thought I saw Jairo & Joy out back a little while ago. You could ask Michael.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Alix, Jay and Joy were last seen wandering hand in hand toward the hedge.
No need to worry about them. I am sure when they get hungry they will return.
Archangel Michael has everything under control.
We have had no dramas overnight.

If it isn't too early in the day, the pavlova is awesome. There is some fruit and dipping chocolate. No calories...
Plum puffs, snickerdoodles, cheesecake...
Help yourself.
Or crayfish, shrimp, steak, gropher, you name it.. we can find it somewhere.
The advantage of fairy dust. :)

Rosalie Skinner said...

I think I saw flames coming from the back shed. Wendy's not here so I better investigate.
Probably CBB and Furnace playing. Will be back shortly...

Author H K Carlton said...

Happy Release Day and Congratulations to all.

Mary Andrews said...

Thanks. Come on in and join the party.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Phew.. crisis averted. It was Furnace, sneezing.
Seems he's allergic to the jasmine that's just beginning to flower along the hedge.
Wendy's back shed can be repaired.
Wonder what the insurance people will think of her report.
Damaged by baby dragon fire. hmm.
Oh well..
Hi H K, have you found the food, drink, somewhere safe to sit?

Mary Andrews said...

OMG! What's that! Out of nowhere a whirling black hole just popped in and Alix, H K--gone, just gone.

Oh no, here it comes again. *pop*

Margo said...

What an ono party, everyone! It's been so much fun to share the won-tons and frivolity with so many fellow writers and readers across the globe -- from the golden land of Australia to the verdant forests of Germany. Many mahalos to all who stopped in to celebrate, and a big, resounding thank you to Wendy, who was crazy enough -- and fun enough -- to host us all! Mahalo to Lea and all our awesome editors and cover designers who made this day possible. With grateful aloha, Margo :) Oh, and here is a fun review that just came out today; Todd is scratching his head over it: http://www.newportbeachindy.com/2012/07/26/island-danger-safe-choice/

Wendy said...

Well I just popped out of the other side of the black hole so I'm sure Alix and HK will be right behind me. I think the shapeshifting sibyl frightened off the birds while she was a bat. I can't smell the cinnamon so the birds will be back now. Here the kookaburra laugh and the magpie warble. Of course you can.

Wendy said...

Congratulations on a review already Margo. That's wonderful

Mary Andrews said...

*POP* What a wild ride!

Mary Andrews said...

Wow, Margo, what a great review. Congratulations.

Unknown said...

CBB takes a big sniff of the pretty jasmine he'd stolen to make Furnace sneeze and hides it in his trunk.

*snicker* Furnace is going to cost Wendy and Lady Rosalie a lot of money with that insurance deductible. That'll teach him trying to steal Lady Rosalie and Wendy's affections from me.
He's just full of hot air.

Mary Andrews said...

Hi Karen, how's it going?

Wendy said...

CBB you can play with Gwilt's wolf. Stay away from the dragons and the black hole. Here are some ordinary carrots. I wish we had some od Suzanne's moldy ones. :)

Dr Lily and Sheriff Jet were around here somewhere. I guess they wandered off into Michelle's forest. Hope they come across Joy & Jay who have probably fallen asleep and are now in dreamland ;)eh Alix?

Wendy said...

This was a real nice clambake --I feel like singin' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGIhFTQYicQ&feature=related

Unknown said...

Fairies and dragons...Oh! Sponge cake!! I see I wandered back just in time for more yummies! *grin*

Hi Pat! Hi Mary and Rosalie. *wave* Wendy this is another smashing party I must say. You really know how to celebrate.

Unknown said...

I would not doubt that they're sleeping. I didn't see when I was walking around. And since they didn't come home...well, we all know what happens when that happens. *laugh*

Rosalie Skinner said...

Goodness...Must have dozed off waiting for the Olympic athletes to walk past.
Seemed to take forever...

So, what's on the bbq, I have worked up an appetite.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Margo what a fantastic review.

Black holes... and sponge cake, where else do the two combine so well, but in Wendy's back yard.

CBB... so.. he produced the jasmine. Tch tch...

Joy and Jay... I know I saw them at the bbq...just before I noticed the flames coming from the back shed.

It looked like they were heading off with a swag of goodies.

Maybe they worked up an appetite too. :)

Unknown said...

Hi Mary! How are you? Isn't this a craaazzzzzy thing going on here?

Now Wendy - Jet, Jr. wandered off into those woods and ran across some special mushrooms and he's spinning in circles.

CBB is especially happy about that because Jet, Jr. keeps calling him Dumbo.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Jet Jr will get an even bigger surprise when the fairies find he's stolen the center piece of their fairy ring. Hmm.

This could be worth watching. I might have to make sure the camera battery is charged.

Wendy said...

Jet Jr stole the centre of the fairy ring and ate their mushrooms? Oh me oh my. So that's why he's wearing a halo. No wonder Lily is gazing at him stary eyed. He'll have a headache tomorrow hehehe.

Somebody wake up Joy and Jay. Don't let them sleep for goodness sake.

Poor CBB we can't call him Dumbo. He'll think he's in a circus and start swinging on my high trapeze.

Rosalie, just march the Olympic athletes into the garden - a few more people won't make any difference now. :) They'll add a splash of colour.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Well, I am about to head out on a quest... so will wave good bye to my fellow revellers. Congratulations to all with book releases today or soon, and to all how have come to help celebrate.
Have a wonderful time.

Wendy, I will return to help clean up!

Thanks again for hosting such a brilliant party.

I hope all authors and characters get home safely.

Cheerio.

Mary Andrews said...

Bye Rosalie. Michael and I need to leave now too. I've got to get ready for race writing tonite at 10:30. I skipped last nite for the party and had a great time.

Thank you, Wendy for hosting the release of The Fireborn Chronicles: Revelations. And congratulations to all the other releases.

Let me know if there's going to be a drawing for participants. I'd be happy to offer option of one of the three books in the series as a prize.

Again, thanks for all your hard work.

TTFN

Wendy said...

Farewell Rosalie and everyone.

There is no clean up in cyber space. We just click the refresh button :)

Thank you all for being such good sports. When the authors decide I'll let you know who won their books.

Closing the garden gate, still singing, It was A Real Nice Clambake from Carousel. Hugs

Unknown said...

Thank you for the wonderful party Wendy! Congrats to everyone whose book came out today I had a great time. *smile*

I've collected Jairo and Joy. :)

Can't wait for the next release party!!

Unknown said...

Just because there had to be at least 350 comments... LOL

Love you guys. G'nite CBB - Wendy will send you home on Monday and don't worry darling, I'll make sure Jet, Jr. behaves. I'm afraid that boy will grow up just like his daddy...but that's another release party.

Barbara Ehrentreu said...

Phew, I finally got here!! Sorry I'm so late, but it was quite a day and then at night had to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony!! They put literature into it!! Yes!!

I brought a whole load of chocolate chip cookies for you Wendy, because you asked me so nicely and you missed me!! I had to run by Chubby because he smelled them and wanted to get his paws all over them. He did sniff them, but the fairy dust kept him away and oh yeah, he had stepped in his own cheesecake. Sorry Karen! He seems okay, though he is a little bluer.

Congratulations to all the authors with new releases!! I can't keep track of all, but Michelle it has finally happened!! Michelle and I have a special connection and so happy for you!! Will come back tomorrow for the big finale, but now should be sleeping. I will just try a plum puff and of course a lamington. YUM!!! I'll just wash it down with some of that delicious iced Australian wine!!

It's too late for Carolyn and Jennifer, but I'll bring them tomorrow and maybe Max. Though I hate to see what a Newfoundland will do with Chubby!! Night all!!! Wendy you throw fabulous parties. This is really your best!!
